You'll need two skills to be able to do this. One of course, being simple magic tricks. Card tricks, coin tricks and other sleight of hand tricks are fairly easy to learn. What separates out the truly impressive magicians from those in training is the next skill you need to learn.

Public speaking. Yes, you read that right. All skilled magicians also have excellent public speaking skills. In order to direct peoples attention, you'll need to develop what's called a "patter," or that mesmerizing speaking that magicians do while performing their tricks. Even if you have no plans of ever doing magic, you should improve our public speaking skills.

These two "simple" skills may seem a bit daunting at first, but when you take the time to realize the powerful and positive effects you can have on people, and how much pleasure you can create, it makes it all worthwhile. The next step is to simply get started. - 31989
