Each Hollywood producer has one aim in mind when they make a motion picture. They want to put out a film that is a gigantic success that the public loves. A terrific story, some brilliant stars along with a few special effects and there you have the ingredients for a huge box-office triumph. Or do you? Sometimes a movie will have all of the alleged required ingredients and it will still not succeed at the box office. There are no guaranteed recipes to make a Hollywood hit. Believe in me - Still another 1970s film that is all about drug tribulations. Working gal Bisset finds herself completely dependant on speed while living in the East Village section of New York City. Cast includes Michael Sarrazin, Jacqueline Bisset, Jon Cypher, Allen Garfield, and Kurt Dodenhoff. (90 minutes, 1971)

Ocean's Twelve - Three years ago Danny Ocean and his team of eleven had pulled of one of the most daring heists in contemporary times. Terry Benedict, the casino owner they swindled out of $160 million wants his money back, and knows who robbed him. This leads to another and more diabolical plot to deal with this new mess.

Mamma Mia - Sophie is about to get married. Her single mom has invited her two best lifetime friends to the wedding. Sophie has invited three men from her mothers past, wanting to find her father, and have him walk her down the aisle. Old romances are reborn during the frenzied day before the marriage.

The Seniors - 4 college students open a false sex hospital, which mushrooms into a multi million dollar business. The movie is both stupid and sarcastic, with some harmless nudity thrown in. Cast includes Jeffrey Byron, Gary Imhof, Dennis Quaid, Lou Richards, PrisciIla Barnes, Alan Reed, Edward Andrews, Robert Emhardl, and Alan Hewitt.

Zoolander - Male model Derek Zoolander is employed to help stop a group of assassins who are posing as male models. He must somehow permeate this private group. Making things even more troubling is Hansel, a new, up and coming model, who keeps screwing things up for Zoolander.

Inglorious Bastards - 5 cadets getting ready to be court-martialed in WW2 take off and try to make their way through France, hoping to get to the Swiss border. Cast includes Ian Bannen, Bo Svenson, Fred Williamson, Peter Hooten, and Michael Pergolani.

Heartland Reggae - Sloppy documentary of '78 show remembering a visit to Jamaica by Haile Selassie. The music makes it worth watching. Cast includes Bob Marley and the Wailers, Peter Tosh, and Althea and Donna.

Metropolitan - Typical comedy, packed with sarcasm, is set throughout Christmas season, with hermit Clements drawn into small gang of friends, and out of his shell. Cast includes Carolyn Farina, Edward Clements, Christopher Eigeman, Taylor Nichols, Allison Rutledge-Parisi, Dylan Hundley, Isabel Gillies, Bryan Leder, Can Kempe, and Elizabeth Thompson.

Strange Interlude - A Eugene O'Neill play that displays the tangled web of the variation between our thoughts and our words. Norma Shearer plays a woman who lost the love of her life when he was shot down in WWI. The movie tells of romances and marriages between Nina and three men, only one of whom she loves. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is a preoccupying film, with Shearer at her radiant best. The cast includes Norma Shearer, Clark Gable, Might Robson, Maureen O'Sullivan, Robert Youthful, Ralph Morgan, Henry B. Walthall, and Alexander Kirkland. - 31989
