Southland Tales: An impressive cast is trashed in an over long, overwrought wallow set in 2008 Southern California three years after a catastrophic atomic assault has turned America into a patrol state. Concentrates on a few individuals trying to subsist in this post apocalyptic atmosphere, including a B action film performer, a porn megastar turned Television commentator, and an L.A. patrol officer with a split personality. Cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Sean William Scott, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mandy Moore, Justin Timberlake, Nora Dunn, John Larroquette, Bai Ling, Jon Lovitz, Cheri Oteri, Amy Poehler, Lou Taylor Pucci, Miranda Richardson, Wallace Shawn, Holmes Osborne, Kevin Smith, Christopher Lambert, Janeane Garofolo, Beth Grant, Zelda Rubinstein, and Curtis Armstrong. Scandalous: A feather brained sham in regards to investigative TV journalist who runs afoul of a team of con artists as he tries to extricate himself from a homicide charge. Cast includes Robert Hays, John Giegud, Pamela Stephenson, and Jim Dale. (94 minutes, 1984)

For Me and My Gal: Music maintains the style of vaudeville couple decided to play Palace, circa WWI. Kelly's film debut, and he and Garland harmonize title tune and other old top choices. Cast includes Judy Garland, George Murphy, Gene Kelly, Marta Eggerth, Ben Blue, Horace McNally, Keenan Wynn, Sandra Goldbacher, and Richard Quine. (104 minutes, 1942)

The Day the Hot Line Got Hot: The film is a weak try at espionage as spies mess up the Moscow Washington hot line, leading to global disaster. This was Robert Taylor's very last performance. Cast includes Robert Taylor, Charles Boyer, George Chakiris, Dominique Fabre, and Gerard Tichy. (92 minutes, 1969)

Delta Force Two: Norris leads his Delta Force brigade into Latin America in an attempt to snuff out an elusive drug lord. Cast includes Chuck Norris, John P. Ryan, Paul Perri, Richard Jaeckel, Begonia Plaza, Mateo Gomez, Hector Mercardo, and Billy Drago. (110 minutes, 1990)

Rambo: First Blood Part: An action story of a one-man army who goes to Cambodia looking for American MIAs and finds he's been duped by Uncle Sam. By no means uninteresting although remarkably dumb; if one were to take it critically, it could be considered pretty weak, as it capitalizes on genuine frustrations of MIA families and Vietnam vets. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Charles Napier, Julia Nickson, Steven Berkoff, and Martin Kove. (95 minutes, 1985)

Hackers: A group of youthful computer specialists is framed for crimes committed by pc whiz and would-be master felon Stevens, and have to use their own computer abilities to demonstrate their innocence. It is quick paced and the lucid directing makes it fun. Cast includes Jonny Lee Miller, Angelina. Jolie, Fisher Stevens, Matthew Lillard, Laurence Mason, Jesse Bradford, Renoly Santiago, Lorraine Bracco, Wendell Perforate, Penn Jillette, Felicity Huffman, and Marc Anthony. (105 minutes, 1995)

Fantomas against Scotland Yard: A sarcastic cliffhanger-type venture story, with Marais as wonderful felon involved in sports orientated adventures. Cast includes Jean Marais, Louis De Funes, Mylene Demongeot, and Henri Serre. (104 minutes, 1966)

Air America: Guides Mel and Bob are part of the C.IA.'s smuggling operation in Laos throughout the Vietnam War. They crate anything and anyone anyplace. Supposed action comedy has few giggles and makes little sense. Cast includes Mel Gibson, Robert Downey, Jr., Nancy Travis, David Marshall Grant, Aisle Smith, Ken Jenkins, and Art La Fleur. (112 minutes, 1990)
