Alice Sweet Alice: For profit spacecraft unwittingly takes on an extraterrestrial being that wreaks ruthless chaos on the team. This space age terror film reverts to the 1950's style, although unfolds at a determinate pace, populates the tale with fascinating, vibrant characters, and plants its good scenes very nicely. Cast includes Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, John Hurt, Ian Holm, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto, and Veronica Cartwright. (117 minutes, 1979)

Soup for One: An occasionally triumphing although choppy presentation of lone New Yorker Rubinek looking for his fantasy girl. Cast includes Saul Rubinek, Marcia Strassman, Gerrit Graham, Teddy Pendergrass, Richard Libertini, Andrea Martin, and Lewis J. Stadlen. (87 minutes, 1982)

No Man Is an Island: The spotty production values harm this real tale of serviceman Hunter stuck on Guam throughout the 3 years the Japanese controlled the region. Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore: The movie tells the story of a lady's odyssey to find out who she is and her effort to find some measure of cheerfulness after her spouse dies, leaving her and a youthful child penniless. Luther: Authentic however placid American Film Theatre re-creation of John Osborne's play in regards to Martin Luther (Keach), leader of the Lutheran Reformation. Cast includes Stacy Keach, Patrick Magee, Hugh Griffith, Robert Stephens, Alan Badel, and Judi Dench. (112 minutes, 1973)
