The Indian Runner: A temperamental piece in reference to a youthful gentleman's efforts to comprehend, and get closer to, his brother who's just returned from Vietnam. The film is lazy at times, however filled with feeling and reality, and is relatively moving. Hefty acting jobs all around, with unconventional although powerful projecting of Bronson as the boys' depressed dad. For Keeps: Studious adolescent Ringwald finds that she is pregnant, and must swiftly face adult duties. The topic is most beneficial, although the outcome is unsurprising and fake. The Fourth Protocol: An excellent thriller adjusted by Frederick Forsyth from his most popular novel. Caine plays a British agent who's designated to foil a Russian plot that could obliterate relationships between the U.S. and England by setting off an atomic bomb near an American air base in the U.K. Brosnan does well as a Russian representative. Cast includes Michael Caine, Pierce Bronson, Joanna Cassidy, Ned Beatty, Betsy Brantley, Peter Cartwright, David Conville, Matt Frewer, Ray McAnally, and Ian Richardson. (119 minutes,'87)

Blithe Spirit: A delectable adaptation of Noel Coward's comedy fantasy in regards to a guy whose long since passed first spouse appears to haunt and tease him in his recently wedded life. Rutherford is remarkable as Madame Arcati, the metaphysical medium. This film made an Oscar for its visual effects. Cast includes Rex Harrison, Constance Cummings, Kay Hammond, Margaret Rutherford, Hugh Wakefield, and Joyce Carey. (96 minutes,'45)

The Only Game in Town: This romance of a chorus girl and a gambler takes place in Las Vegas but was shot in Paris, and it definitely hurts the film. There is little action and the inside scenes slow pace of this delightful adaptation of Frank D. Gilroy's play. Beatty is phenomenal. Cast includes Elizabeth Taylor, Warren Beatty, Charles Braswell, Hank Henry, and Olga Valery. (113 minutes,'70)

Scandalous: A feather brained sham in regards to investigative TV journalist who runs afoul of a team of con artists as he tries to extricate himself from a homicide charge. Cast includes Robert Hays, John Giegud, Pamela Stephenson, and Jim Dale. (94 minutes,'84)

Delta Fox: An unremarkable action-based opus in regards to a smuggler on the run from Miami to L.A. Cast includes Richard Lynch, Priscilla Barnes, Stuart Whitman, John Ireland, and Richard Jaeckel. (92 minutes,'77)
